COLO-DETECT trial manager, Dr Alexander Seager, presented COLO-DETECT research at the United European Gastroenterology UEG Week 2023in Copenhagen.

This prominent event, which took place from 14-17 October, serves as a leading platform for showcasing and discussing the latest breakthroughs in treatments, products and devices in the field of gastroenterology.

COLO-DETECT is a randomised control trial evaluating whether colonoscopy assisted with the GI Genius™ Intelligent Endoscopy Module improves the detection of abnormalities such as polyps and cancer compared to standard colonoscopy. It is the biggest trial to date exploring the real-world implementation of artificial intelligence for the improvement colorectal cancer outcomes.
